The much awaited Sony Reader is finally here, relieving months of agonizing suspense for all Sony fanatics who were waiting to give all the Kindle fans a run for their money. The gadget is handy enough. However there are some hiccups with the Sony Connect books. They are not compatible on any other gadget other than the Sony Reader and cant be used by Mac readers. Also, the books are pretty expensive and sometimes almost as expensive as paperback books. Also, no audio books are supported on the Sony Reader either. Sony has finally launched the pocket sized version of the Sony Reader which has been making waves in the tech world for sometime now. The Reader Pocket Edition (PRS-300) and the Reader Touch Edition have some of the best features that Sony is usually known for. Among these, there is the 512 MB internal memory and also the E Ink Vizplex paper display which has a resolution of 800*600 pixels and also a 8 level gray scale.
